The technology behind Fertium Non-Salt is that the applied complex Calcium will displace the sodium ions available in the soil. Fertium Non-Salt will displace salts and increase soil permeability and porosity, removing sodium gradually. Fertium Non-Salt provides soluble calcium which contributes to prevent calcium deficiencies.
Fertium Non-Salt is recommended as a first application dose at 25-30L/Ha to leach the sodium out of the soil followed by a weekly maintenance application of 5L/Ha.
For best results, it is recommended to irrigate well after the application of Fertium Non-Salt to leach down the displaced sodium ions.
