Ketosis – is a metabolic disease in cattle arising from intense fat mobilization and a high glucose demand especially in the first six weeks of lactation, and up to 60 days, due to high energy demand, arising from high milk production
COMPOSITION – Ketonex is a high concentration of propylene glycol and electrolytes designed for rapid response against Ketosis
Ketonex contains;
- Propylene glycol………892mg
- Choline chloride………75mg
- Cobalt chloride…………0.75mg
- Potassium iodide………45mg
- Sorbitol
Indications – Aids in treatment and prevention of Ketosis in cattle and sleepy sickness in sheep and goats. Used as a tonic in debility and convalescence in cattle, sheep and goats.

DOSAGE
Administered as a drench or mix in drinking water or feed Cattle.
- Ketosis: 240mls twice daily
- Debility and Convalescence…..120-240 mls daily.
- The debility of convalescence is calves, sheep, and goats administer 30-60mls daily.
- The normal dose may be diluted up to 10 times with water and admin in 3-4 divided doses.
- Withdrawal for meat and Milk: Nil
