Active ingredients; Aclonifen 450 g/L + Flufenacet 150 g/L
Mode of action:
Bandur® Forte SC 600 has two active ingredients; Aclonifen and Flufenacet which belong to HRAC (Herbicide Resistance Action Committee) groups 32 and 15 class of herbicides
respectively.
Aclonifen is a diphenyl ether bleaching compound. It causes an accumulation of phytoene, which leads to an inhibition of chlorophyll and other photosynthetic components. Affected weeds show bleaching and chlorosis symptoms. Aclonifen has a systemic effect and also inhibits biosynthesis of carotenoids.
Flufenacet; belongs to the Chemical Family α-Oxyacetamides and conjugates with acetyl COA and certain sulfhydryl-containing molecules via thiacarbamate sulfoxides which inhibit the long-chain fatty acids during seedling shoot growth stage of the plant, hence affecting weed germination and emergence. Flufenacet has a systemic effect with apoplastic transport and meristem action.
Mixing instructions:
Shake the container well before use. Add 1⁄2 (half) of the required amount of water to the mix tank. With the agitator running, add the required amount of Bandur® Forte SC 600 to the tank. Continue agitation while adding the remainder of the water. Begin application of the solution after the product has completely and uniformly dispersed into the mix water.
Maintain agitation until all of the mixture has been applied. Vigorous agitation is necessary for proper dispersal of the product. Maintain maximum agitation throughout the spraying operation. Do not let the spray mixture stand overnight in the spray tank. During mixing, loading and application nitrile gloves, long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, sturdy footwear and goggles should be worn. Avoid contamination of work clothing with spray liquid; water-repellent fabric must be worn on those body parts on which contamination could otherwise not be prevented.

Resistance management:
The active ingredients in Bandur® Forte SC 600, Aclonifen and Flufenacet are in groups 32 and 15 based on the Herbicide Resistance Action Committee (HRAC) mode of action classification. Repetitive/continual use of Bandur® Forte SC 600 can lead to herbicide resistance. It is recommended that Bandur® Forte SC 600 is alternated with herbicides of different MODE OF ACTION as well as adhere to good farming practices such as using cultural or mechanical control.
Cleaning application equipment
